Auto Windscreens helps Dan Walker's charity lf day raise £40k
Auto Windscreens joined celebrities and sporting legends galore on Tuesday for BBC presenter Dan Walker’s annual lf day, held in aid of Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.
Raising over £40k for the cause, this is the fifth ‘Walker Cup’ organised by Dan, who is a patron of the charity.
Alongside supplying branded lf merchandise to players in the tournament held at Hallamshire lf Club, Auto Windscreens’ MD Rupert Armitage also captained a team, which included champion lfer, Kiran Matharu. Other star players included: ex-footballer Danny Mills, international cricketer James ‘Jimmy’ Anderson, Geordie Shore TV personality Gaz Beadle, TV presenter Nick Knowles, squash champion Nick and professional snooker player John Parrot among others.
