When did you join Auto Windscreens?

I joined Auto Windscreens as their contact centre MI and Workforce Planning Manager in August 2013. I then progressed to Quality Assurance and Workforce Planning Manager in October 2015.

Since December 2016 I have held the very privileged role of overseeing and managing the day to day contact centre operation. A role I hold with great honour and pride. I learn something new every single day, and I get to work with some truly amazing people. There is a very strong team/ family ethos, we all work hard together to achieve our als, and equally share our successes.

Why do you enjoy working at Auto Windscreens?

The most important thing in my life is my children. I have 3, all under 12. Auto Windscreens has always been flexible, considerate and understanding. Enabling me to progress and flourish as a working professional, whilst still be able to be a devoted Mum; which in turn I believe has brought out the best in me over the years. I am excited for all that is to come for this great company, and I’m extremely proud to work for them.

What does your role involve?

My current role is MI Analyst for Auto Windscreens, this role involves data analysis and report generation to support business decisions and management performance review.

How long have you worked at Auto Windscreens?

I have been with the company for 8 years, initially starting in the contact centre as a telephony agent. From there I progressed to QA Auditor and then Contact Centre MI Analyst.

What makes working at Auto Windscreens exciting?

From personal experience I believe there are 2 key reasons why Auto Windscreens is a od place to work:

• Desire to promote from within – I have been able to progress my career within the company over a relatively short period of time, with Training/Support made available where required. I know this is the case for many other people and as a result there is there is additional motivation to help the company do better.
• Ability to Change and Improve – Business changes can happen quite quickly and AW are always quick to respond and implement, but there is also an openness to listen to staff opinions and make improvements to existing processes.

How long have you worked at Auto Windscreens?

I have been with the Auto Windscreens family for 20 years, I have progressed through many roles during my career and learnt so much along the way. There have been many opportunities made available to me that have led on to great things.

Why do you enjoy working at Auto Windscreens?

There is a real family feel where all levels of management are approachable and welcome new ideas. The professional image of our business is reflected in the investments we make into people, technology and working environments. Auto Windscreens has given me a platform to share my skills and make improvements to the business at all levels. Work life balance is recognised across all teams which gives people a sense of flexibility and to some extent are able to work around sometimes hectic family schedules. I really like the perks that are offered and a real involvement with the group as a whole.

When did you start working at Auto Windscreens?

I started at Markerstudy in 2015 and then moved over to Auto Windscreens in 2016. From a contact centre agent I progressed onto the Telematics team and then eventually moved into Supply Chain in 2017. I achieved the role of Supply Chain Team Leader in October 2019 and that has been my daily role to date.

What do you enjoy about Auto windscreens?

I love working at Auto Windscreens as all staff are very friendly and I’ve had some of the funniest and best memories at Auto Windscreens and in the office. Auto Windscreens rewards hard work with the chance of progression and training courses, such as: Markerstudy’s Shooting Stars course which I attended.

Auto Windscreens has a culture of striving to be the best in the industry and you can feel the same self-motivation no matter department you speak to.

What's your experience of working at Auto Windscreens?

I started working at AW in 2018 as an Apprentice within the Transport Dept. Once completed in 2019 I became Fleet Administrator. I was in this position until early 2021 when I stepped in to the role of Fleet Controller.

Why do you enjoy working at Auto Windscreens?

I’m lucky to have a Manager that sees potential in me and pushes me to do things outside of my comfort zone.

At Auto Windscreens there are courses available as well as progression opportunities for all. I’m currently doing an Aspire Into Management course to help build on my current skills and knowledge, and ensure I succeed in my role.

I couldn’t ask for a better team to be a part of and really enjoy working at AW.

When did you join Auto Windscreens?

I started working at Auto Windscreens in 2017 as an Account Manager managing our insurer relationships. Nearly two years later I was promoted to National Accounts Manager and last October, to Head of Insurance Sales, heading up the department and team of account managers.

What do you think about working at Auto Windscreens?

Auto Windscreens is a great place to work. We’re a national organisation with a family feel and a Senior Management Team who have an open door policy. Every employees' opinion counts, which is why we run ‘Bright Ideas’ where staff can put forward suggestions which may benefit employees or the business, driving change and continuous business improvement.
