Auto Windscreens staff ‘walkies’ for Chesterfield Animal Rescue
On Saturday 20th June, Darren Boden and Rachel Froggatt from leading automotive glass repair and replacement company, Auto Windscreens, held a sponsored walk in aid of Chesterfield Animal Rescue, the centre they originally rescued their dog, Max, from in 2014.
On Saturday 20th June, Darren Boden and Rachel Froggatt from leading automotive glass repair and replacement company, Auto Windscreens, held a sponsored walk in aid of Chesterfield Animal Rescue, the centre they originally rescued their dog, Max, from in 2014.
30 people and 15 dogs met at Chatsworth for the 8 mile walk, including family, friends, staff from the rescue centre and staff from Auto Windscreens, Zenith Insurance and Markerstudy Insurance who are based in Brittania House, Chesterfield and are part of Markerstudy Group.
The walkers raised just over £1000, boosted by a £250 contribution from Markerstudy’s in house charitable scheme, Motiv8.
Chesterfield Animal Rescue is a small, Chesterfield based, centre that rescue, re-home and rehabilitate abandoned cats and dogs and have a strict, no-kill policy. They are working hard towards reaching their fundraising target of £250,000 which they will use to provide a permanent centre for the animals, enabling them to support as many unwanted pets as possible.
