Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice latest charity to feature on Auto Windscreens’ vans

Monday, 3 Dec 2018

Auto Windscreens’ new charity vans in Cambridgeshire have launched and feature Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough.

Technicians from the UK windscreen repair company’s local Fitting Hubs chose to feature the hospice on 17 vehicles. Three of the vans are already active, helping promote the vital service the cause provides locally.

Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice is the only specialist palliative care inpatient unit in Peterborough. It provides expert palliative care and support for people who are living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families. In addition to its inpatient unit, the charity’s day service helps people living with long term conditions to avoid unnecessary trips to hospital. It also offers a ‘Hospice at Home’ service for people who prefer to receive palliative care at home.

Nilesh Patel, a community fundraiser from the hospice, also commented: “Thank you to everyone at Auto Windscreens for their kind support. Featuring our lo on the vans will really help to raise awareness of who we are and what we do to support local people and their families.”
