Auto Windscreens’ top tips for your customers
- AVOID POURING BOILING WATER ON GLASS
Pouring boiling water on a windscreen to remove ice or snow could result in the glass cracking or exploding! Use a od quality de-icer or scraper instead.
- TOP UP ANTI-FREEZE
Use anti-freeze screen wash. Ensure it’s topped up and don’t be tempted to use washing up liquid as an alternative.
- WIPER BLADES NEED CARE
Try not to pull wiper blades off frozen glass or turn them on if the screen is iced over as the rubber may tear.
- THINK ABOUT PARKING
Leave your vehicle in a garage overnight or use a windscreen cover to protect against frost. Parking close to a building will also help prevent exposure to the elements.
